Our Story

MedXReports.com started at Wash Park during COVID. I was catching up with my friend Dr. Hugh McPherson—a spine surgeon and medical expert witness—and he looked exhausted.

He told me after full surgical days, he was staying up late, reviewing thousands of pages of medical records—most of them duplicates—just to build legal timelines. It was tedious, manual, and totally beneath the pay grade of a board-certified surgeon.

I’m a TechStars entrepreneur with a background in data science and neuroscience. I knew immediately: this was an AI problem, a workflow problem, and a product problem.

​

So I called my friend Terry—a lawyer who’d worked with both of us in the OR—and Troy, a sharp engineer I’d built with before. We spent a year meeting every Friday, building a working demo. Ugly, but it worked.

By spring 2025, we bet on ourselves. We incorporated, invested our own capital, and hired the dev team we trust to build the MVP.
